"I hate my life" is probably the worst repeated phrase ever, because it's so effortlessly used. No one hates their life when things are fine, only after some bad things happen, at which point they wouldn't say they hate their lives, but then again they wouldn't say they love their lives either. Some self-loathers prefer their lives to suck so they can go about saying "I hate my life," gathering pity and attention to their plight, to which they are passively subdued. Please explain why you hate your life. I hope you used this phrase wisely, and in the future use it sparingly.

Amen Joe. I've found that on the occasions I've heard someone (usually adolescents) say that they hate their life, something changes the next day that makes them all perky again. The phrase tends to not hold water in the sense that if they deep down hated their life, then no one or two events the following day could possibly make up for the summation of bad events prior. I'm not taking credibility out of Josh's claim, but I do ask for you (josh) to try and look at the bright side of things. Granted, you see people who are better off, we all do. You just can't let that get you down. There are people out there looking up at you, seeing how lucky you are. Try not to get too bummed out and enjoy your summer.
