i do care. well, i don't know if i care. i have always hated school and i feel like now that i know i'm leaving, it would be stupid for me to stress out about things in these last two weeks... but ryan's trying hard. he feels like if he didn't, it would be a lot of money wasted. i agree with him, and for this reason i feel guilty for not trying ( Read more... )

I want to quit school as well. One great factor that's keeping me in is the money deal. I too have spent a fortune just for one semester alone. It's a neverending situation even if you're in the postgrad. level.

Oh man, I have been feeling that way a hell of a lot this year, but mostly because of a horrible professor. Everytime I consider dropping out I think about what I would do if I didn't finish school, which is really nothing interesting. My desired field is history, that's what I want to do and despite the set backs I just feel like I gotta keep moving, and I look at things a semester at a time. Though I guess you know what you'd rather do with your life, and if college isn't a part of it, than there's nothing that will change that, so don't worry about it. As for it being money wasted, not necessarily, you spent the money on what you felt was the right choice at the time, to discover that it isn't, many people know that it isn't the right path for them, but spend all 4 years in school, for what? A piece of paper that makes no difference in their life what so ever. Rock on.

I hated school too. I think if you're comfortable with your choices that's all that matters. Schools not going anywhere you can always go back. The classes you hate now though can be a stepping stone to what you like.

I think you rock with whatever you want to do. You're a smart girl, you'll figure it out =)
