I recently came back from a 10-day vacation with David in Aruba. He had won two free roundtrip tickets from JetBlue to anywhere they fly in North America. My uncles (my mother's brother and his partner) invited me and David to their house in Maryland for Thanksgiving. We went down and I was able to introduce David to my maternal grandparents, who also came for Thanksgiving. Things went extremely well, and it was an enjoyable weekend. David was just offered a nice position in a consulting firm. He and I are very happy, although he still has weeks of interviews coming up with other companies, so, in the end, he may not take this particular position with this particular company (although he probably will).
