Mixed Evening

Just got home from gaming with friends. There is a game shop in Augusta where people gather at and game on Sundays.  I haven;t played TALISMAN in forever. LOOOVED it! Used the new boxed set with the mminiatures and cards expansion pack and just had a great time

Wow...that's something that doesn't happen to everyone! Sounds like an awful situation.

Just wondered whether you'd thought about checking out Champions Online. Not been on CoH for a week, having been engrossed in CO along with @madisonbear. Anyways, hope all's well fella.

Ive been playing CO beta for a while and really just am not that impressed. It does have some GREAT costume idea and pieces and gameplay seems smoothe enough, but the game gives me a headache. And it feels and looks far too cartoony for me. I know thats the look they were going for, but I just don't care to play a sunday newpaper comic strip and that is what the game feels like to me. But thats just me.

You're not alone in that opinion - the graphics appear to divide many from what I've read in the forums and on Twitter, etc. I found it a little too cartoony in the beginning but seem to have forgotten about it now. That said, I haven't logged back into CoH for a little while so maybe I'll find the differences will be glaringly obvious. Hope to catch up with you in CoH sometime soon ;-)

Apparently, he was on parole and the gun, of course, violated it. I knew that he had a record, but it wasn't for anything like this. Whats disturbing is that not 2 days prior, I had spent all night with him and some mutual friends gaming. It's just very surreal. And unnerving.
