went to the NJPAC in Newark to watch the nj symphony orchestra and the MSU choir perform carmina burana. orff was right, everything he did before carmina burana was a waste of his time, but also i think he neglected to mention that nothing he did afterwards reached that high water mark either. meeting the 'stad
Last night was excellent. I took a trip into the jewel of the orient NYC to meet chris onstad and have him sign a copy of the Great outdoor fight and a promo poster for the 1957 GOF for my buddy "Biff aka the "b"storm". this was the pimpin'est signing i've ever attended, it was at ROCKETSHIP in brooklyn, but the line actually led out the back door ( Read more... ) -

corporate medicine: adding insult to injury
i got chemicals in my right eye today at work, mentha arvensis (BURNS, DO NOT ATTEMPT AT HOME), and had to go to the emergency room to get evaluated after i finished irrigating my eye. the ER process is excruciating, felt as bad as getting the mint in my eye, but apparently it was necessary as i have chemical conjunctivitis. then, because it ( Read more... ) -
