i would just wear them with black tights and everything else i normally wear, dresses, shorts, skirts, whatever. i think brown goes with most things really? i wear brown shoes with black all the time, i like it with neutrals too and check patterns especially in red/blue

So many people seem obsessed that you can't wear black and brown together? I wear them together almost everyday!

ah check patterns sounds like a nice combination! yeah you're right, I have some brown brogues / flats that i mix with anything, but i wore brown knee high boots with a black stripey dress and black tights last week and it just looked so wrong! i think maybe the tights were too opaque/ too dark lol
