We received some bad news today. My father-in-law's colon cancer recurred and metastasized to his liver. Prognosis with chemotherapy is 6 months to 2 years. They put in the stint for chemo today. We're going to try to fly Edmond's brother in from Utah for Christmas. That's all I know right now.

I was riding home listening to the radio between 5 and 6 today and found what I thought to be the news on channel 106.7 FM CBS Sports discussing a favored teen wrestler at Iowa state championships who refused to wrestle a female competitor and defaulting on his match. Edmond and I celebrated our w year anniversary this was weekend- we met Sunday of last year's Valentine's Day weekend.

Well, yesterday morning, Edmond proposed. And I said yes! :-)

It's been a rough year (loss of two grandparents, car accident, etc), and I've probably only posted a fraction of it. Past a certain point, I didn't want to become a perpetual bearer of bad news.
