Grateful! For reliable music...songs (sometimes albums) that always have exactly the effect I hope for when I put them on.

Grateful! For clean teeth, for pear lip balm, for those who put the greater good ahead of their own desire for power/wealth/privilege.

Grateful! For knowing the questions to ask. For the bits of my privacy that aren't an illusion.

Grateful! For people with whom I can share my unpopular opinions. For wiggle room. For knowing when extra chocolate biscuits are appropriate.

Grateful! For the incredibly fluffy marshmallow in Tunnock's tea cakes. For keeping my ego out of things I don't actually care about.

Grateful! For raspberry jam, for the Oxford comma, and for all the small things that keep me from feeling entirely hopeless about the future.
