I totally agree. Originally, I didn't want kids at my larp because I was a teacher and could loose my job if the minor got injured when I was present. Now I don't want kids at my larp because I need kid-free space where I know I don't run into cuteness and have the "wow... look what I missing out on" moment that will immediately set me to either syrupy sadness (which is sticky and spreads) or bitchy bitterness (which results in "I'm a failure and Brittany Spears isn't".... never pretty). There are a FEW kids, when prepared, that I am totally okay around, but those are pre-existing and few. In the future, I know I will also want child-free larps for the stress-relief of having child-free time as well as for the ability not to worry that the kid will get injured.

I love RB's policy about kids and would like to see it stay that way. :)

I agree, and am not likely to change my tune once I have a rugrat of my own to worry about people stepping on.

I think there would need to be a great deal of discussion about safety and legal issues, but I think it would be lots of fun.

I think there is concern that speaks and I are pushing to bring our kid to the Redbutton game, but please don't worry. KG is a pretty adult setting and I also enjoy my kid-free time occasionally ( ... )
