MMMMMMmmmmm.... another year
And I've gotten several "presents" already today from the boys. Happy day!

I bring you this update from the hospital bed. Nothing is wrong. They just had to put me on medicine for a sinus infection that then totally messed up my digestive system. So they've brought me in to try it in an IV instead and see if we can skip the nasty side affects. But this means I'm being monitored closely. So we've discovered that the boys ( Read more... ) -
News!!!
So the doc let me come home again today!!! The boys are 4.3 and 3.15 pounds each! So I go for an evaluation of Friday to see how my scar tissue (from my previous c-section) is holding up. If all is well, then I'm free until Wednesday. But it looks like next Wednesday is my last day of freedom. And I'm okay with that, because the boys are growing ( Read more... ) -
33 Weeks! Follow the Yellow Brick Road
Ok.... so here is the weekly "I'm still alive. The boys are still kicking. I'm still not in the hospital. I'm going to the specialist this afternoon." post.

32 Weeks it is!
Today is 32 weeks. In celebration, I'm on multiple drugs, regulated consumption levels (every 5 hour protein shakes), and back to the doctor again today. Went yesterday. Went well except that:
1. I'm a plague bearer of upper respiratory fun. And lack of oxygen to my brain equals less than good levels for the boys, so that is now requiring serious ( Read more... ) -

I'm making it. I can do it. Every day is a victory. And now that we know that the boys already weigh 3 pounds each, it helps. They are gaining an ounce a day each, so I'm really starting to notice quick changes now. And they've begun their decent.... They aren't nearly has far up in my ribs as they were previously. Week 28!!
You know that place where medical viability ceases to be a question and "I've done this before" leaves the conversation, well. I'm there.
Yep. Ladies and gentlemen, at this point with Claire I was in the hospital. And where am I this time? At home. On a couch. Enjoying the freedom of being allowed to walk around and even make my own cereal! Granted ( Read more... ) -
Week 27!!!
I'm so excited. I just can't hide it.... wait... hmmm... maybe I should take OUT the iPod before typing! :)
Seriously, though, I am GIDDY. We've made it to 27 weeks! While I'm on restricted activity levels and can only be an hour from Marietta at any moment, I'm NOT on Bed Rest. I'm also NOT in the HOSPITAL! This is a first for me! And boy, I'm ( Read more... )
