this is strickly in the eyes of the beholder sort of thing...even if you make it perfectly clear, some persons feel that that is just a line and you really mean chase me, or I am hard to get,...too many ways to go with it. If you have truly committed yourself to one person at a time, then this other person, if they are a long time friend should know this. However, it always pays to keep repeating your position until they understand or go away. It wont take too long to find out what they wanted. Playing mental games is so counter productive and waist of time. move on if it gets too, too. It is never good to string anyone along either.

yepp...think also that this is a "in the eyes of the beholder sort of thing"...a question could also be: have you ever been a player? just cause of inviting him over to spent time together doesnt mean at the same time it does mean something! just if that one person is thinking this must have a meaning its getting "complicated" or whatever...uff...just tell him straight whats up...(if there is the need to)
