motherlovin' snakes on a motherlovin' plane

My sister has given birth to a second son, whom she and her husband have named Jackson. The firstborn is named Samuel.

Am I the only one who sees this? My sister and brother-in-law have named their children collectively:

Samuel Jackson

If only they had a daughter named Elle.

ROFL!! I named my children Shannon and Sean without once considering that their names began with the same sound. I had realized that their initials would be the same but the reason we chose those names was because they were the only ones my husband and I could halfway agree upon. When I brought my son home from the hospital a neighbor stopped us and asked his name. When she said, "Oh, how cute! Shannon and Sean," I thought to myself, "Dear God, what have I done???" ^__^

The naming process is a mystery, it seems, even to the parents themselves! At least my nephews are mostly going to be known as "Sam" and "Jack," and it's entirely possible I'm the only one who will experience a strong desire to tease their parents about the full names. :p

(I think the "sh" sound is cute, so I like "Shannon and Sean"!)

Give one of them a purple lightsaber, and the other one a wallet with BAMF on it. :D

Muskrits can't even joke about purple lightsabers, which of course only exist theoretically in an alternate universe where certain movies may or may not have been made...

I think the expression in your icon most nearly matches my reaction when I first read it...!

I would be more WTF, but I think they really just aren't aware of it all. Merciless teasing from Aunt 'Skrit is, nonetheless, on track to happen.

I'll test the waters first to see if maybe they did it on purpose. Maybe make a cheese royale joke and see how that goes over?

Scathing jabs have been queued either way!
