About a week ago, I made the mistake (?) of watching the documentary Super Size Me.The film shook me to the core, and I made the revelation that I eat like shit. I decided something had to be done...I wasn't exactly gaining weight, but I wasn't feeling all that great either. I've always been a bit on the overweight side and need more exercise, but ( Read more... )

Maybe I should watch it and it would motivate me too :( I don't like being this heavy...Even though I've lost five pounds I'm still the heaviest I've been. Stupid band thighs :/

The only thing that sucks about it is, my dress for the wedding is based on my old weight. Altercations-o-rama! (Which reminds me, I have to figure out when the hell I'm going to get to H-burg to pick the darn thing up!)

Yeah, it's getting down to crunch time. But don't feel bad! Yours gets taken in, Liz's gets let out and Kristy and Cassie's get hemmed! It's all good.

I felt the same way after watching Super-Size Me. I went to McD's the other day, and besides the guilt of putting what I now know for a fact to be garbage into my body, the food itself made me really sick. I'm glad that it worked to inspire you. I think taking care of yourself physically (and mentally) are some of the most admirable things you can do. Especially since once you learn how to take care of yourself, you can conquer bigger things.

I love the Weight Watchers program. My mom used it to lose over 100 pounds. (Not that you need to lose weight, but she did.) More than that, it helped her change her life, become active, and laugh and smile a lot more, which is really what it's all about.

Congrats, Kat! Take care of yourself!!
