There is one subculture that has undergone a lot of "social evolution," as one might call it. The Skaters, those cool guys (and to some degree, girls) that glide across the ground with their four-wheeled boards, are one group that changed about as many times as my socks

Anyway, yeah, I had to study this kinda thing in my last English class. I read several essays and wrote a few things about skaters, surfers, and the different phases/attitudes/and subcultures they've been a part of. It was actually pretty interesting. I can lend you the book with the essays. It's really neat!
