Duke Morguhn Sheridan Memorial Tournament

Duchesses Rowan de la Garnison and Meirwen uerch Owein happily announce that the Duke Morguhn Sheridan Memorial Tournament will be held Saturday, September 12, at Summer's End in the Canton of Beau Fleuve.

Medieval Battle Records on line
One of my SCA librarian friends just shared this:
The detailed service records of 250,000 medieval soldiers - including archers who served with Henry V at the Battle of Agincourt - have gone online.

I stopped reading SCA listserves even before we went into the current state of severe SCA inactivity. They just weren't good for my heart, in more ways than one. These days the closest I get to one is seeing others' comments about whatever is blowing up on the list of the moment ( Read more... ) -
Timing
The list of replies from LJ as everyone joined the new journal is an interesting study in when folks read their own journals. Interestingly, the period of quiet was only four hours and 17 minutes long between the last response last night and the first one this morning.
