I had the interview for the job I’m desperate to get yesterday. I enjoyed it, I had things I wanted to know about it so I came up with some questions at the end and they answered them thoroughly for me. In other news, I had the best weekend! 

Oh, for goodness sake! The upper lid of my left eye is swollen and painful, there's a painful lump under my right eye and now I have a nasty spot erupting on my chin. I'm doing all the snogging tomorrow, face. THIS IS NOT A GOOD IDEA. Stop it, now.

I'm a fifteen year old living in the body of a twenty year old. I've got nervous butterflies and I want you to want me etc. I've been slapped in the face by my own feelings and I want to be sick because I don't know anything.

Does it ever get easier?

Today is all about getting the mundane things out of the way: ironing, washing up, my dissertation presentation (which even my little toes are dreading), cradling my hot water bottle so my insides don’t burst out through the small of my back.
