Has anybody had a D&C? Wondering what my recovery time is going to be like. The doctor says she usually gives people a week off work, which is kind of scary. But I have a high pain threshold and generally get over anesthesia quickly. -

I just had a major child-related shock. No one is pregnant, and no one's life is in danger, but that's all I feel comfortable saying. Please think positively for me and my no-longer-babies. -

new toy
So my husband bought a (used) motorcycle yesterday: a 1999 Honda Nighthawk 250. The guy he bought it from is going to deliver it, which is great. It gets at least 5 times better gas mileage than our Jeep Grand Cherokee, which is more than great. I'm kind of nervous; but at the same time it's really very cool.

so long, big guy
I love my kitties. I dream of a house full of happy, purring cats that play, eat, sleep -- and reliably use either a cat box or the great outdoors. But for the third time, we have a cat that is breaking the rules, and I will not keep a cat that uses the house as a litterbox.
