But I come bearing gifts! [She hands him two boxes.] The first one is from your grandpa Fred and the second us from your grandpa Mike and this from me. I don't know what's in them but if I know Mike his is box full of sweets. He did say something about ingredients for hot chocolate. Sor usl hot chocolate. And this is from me. [She gives him another box.] That is sweets and a comic book that JT drew. Maddie liked it and wanted you to see it.
It's good. I don't want to spoil it. But a boy develops powers after an accident and his dad is in law enforcement. It's really good. I enjoyed it. His artwork is excellent. Show Aiden. I bet he'd like the art.
Yeah. We have all these music rooms and things. And drama club. But mostly if you want to know something, you have to hope there are other students who know and will be willing to teach you. Or, like I said, teach yourself.
Yeah, but they cost a lot of money, so either you'll end up paying for them yourself and everyone will think I'm buying my way into something I don't deserve and not even with my own money, or the school will roll over on arts but make up for it by cutting something else kids like, and then, either way, everyone will hate me.
Okay.

JT drew a comic? *Bolly asks, instantly distracted and digging through the box for it.*

This is so cool. I need to learn to draw better.

Do you have art classes here?

We don't have any classes that aren't magic classes. Everything else you have to learn yourself. But Aiden's got lots of his own stuff to do.

You should. Music, art, dance, languages...those are important.

I'll speak to someone.

What? No, don't do that!

Why not? It would be good for everyone to have some arts education and other things.
