I just saw Blood Diamond and I cannot remember the last time I was so moved by a film. I walked out of the theatre half an hour ago and I still feel sick to my stomach. Any problems I may have seem so miniscule in comparison to what else goes on in this world and it's so easy to forget it ( Read more... )

GO! But make sure you're prepared... this is not a romance and this is not an action flick. My hand didn't come away from my mouth from the beginning of the movie until about half way through the credits. But I really think this is an important movie in the same way that Hotel Rwanda was an important movie. I wish everybody would go to see it. I wish it were actaully enough to make people care. Unfortuanely, I think a lot of Americans will disreguard it as fiction, but maybe some eyes can be opened.
