I must say that the trip to the Amon Carter, and I gotta say Western art must have been miserable to paint. I mean In a portrait in which the artist was painting a mainly sandy area, surely some sand must have gotten into  the paint. We had to watch a video in class to day, and aside from the boredom, I was intrigued by the fact, the Columbian Exposition was arguebly one of the biggest sham jobs in American history.
