Well, as pleased as I am at the prospect of a gala, I have to say that the sporting event doesn't quite capture my interest. I'm afraid I've never been one for competitive spots. Though I did partake in my fair share of croquet matches when I was younger.

I'm not even certain I understand the rules of 'baseball'.

Sports have never much interested me, so I'm afraid I didn't bother researching them. I suppose I ought to do so, in light of this development.
