I'd simply like to extend a welcome to all of my students - we'll be learning together, I must admit, as this will be my first year teaching. So please bear with me while I settle in and test out the waters, so to speak. For those of you taking either Basic Chemistry or Anatomy and Physiology, I expect you to come to class prepared. I can't ( Read more... )

You. Too friendly. You cannot accurately convey leadership through such means.

Well, I'm certainly not attempting to be a leader. Just a teacher.

I think I'll be attending your chemistry course, Professor. I'm focusing more on physics as my major, but I'm a fan of all the sciences.

I do have a question, though, if you don't mind. Will we be discussing the theories of quantum chemistry in your course? Of course, I know that all, chemical systems can be described utilizing this theory in principle. However, only simple systems have been investigated thus far through purely quantum mechanical means. I was just hoping you'd discuss it in your course.

Wonderful. I look forward to seeing you in class.

As for quantum chemistry, I'm afraid I'm unaware of any solid theories relating to the subject - I know Erwin Schrödinger has recently made some advances in the field of quantum mechanics...

I'm afraid my homeworld may be a bit behind the times.

And I look forward to attending.

I've read quite a lot about his developments. The equation, the cat. But I'm probably going on about too much now.

I'm sorry to bother you.

The equasion? Are you referring to his work with wave mechanics? I must say, it's causing quite a stir among certain circles back home. No, no, I'm quite interested, do go on. In some things, I'm as much as student as you are.

It's not a bother at all.

Professor Elric,

excuse me, is it possible we can find a time to arrange schedules for when it is possible to use the labs?

Certainly, Dr Smith. If you drop my office after classes, I should be able to work out a timetable for you. I must say I'm looking forward to meeting a fellow professor of science!

Brillaint!

I'll be looking forward to meeting you! About what time are you finished with your classes?

Wonderful [/sarcasm] Not just Al is here but you are too. However I'd love to know how you survived being killed by Envy and transmuting him to open the Gate. Because thank you very much that gave me nightmares dad.
