And this is AFTER (I know) hell was raised because you were killing it to begin with. So...so much for responses and 'response rates'. As for LiveJournal Today/Popular. Haven't we always had some version of that? How does 'moving' or 'removing' Writer's Block change anything? I don't see much of a difference. Only major difference in the homepage is we no longer have Spotlight (that died without so much as a mention or whimper) and I'm guessing for the exact same reason you 'axed' then 'didn't axe, just moved' Writer's Block. So you can make room for your OH.So. POPULAR.Comm! ONTD. Which crashed the servers a few years ago. And discusses things I'm not interested in.
Look, I get that ONTD is hugely popular - there are a helluva lot of members for those comms. But that's not the only reason most of us are at ElJay. And if I wanted to see ( ... )

Please, just stop lying to us. You only decided to do that after there was a vocal outcry to keep it.
And meanwhile, you removed something people wanted on the home screen to make room for things that no one (other than probably the advertisers, the community owners, and you) want there?

Clean it up from the busy mess it has become.
As for the writer's block. It was getting lame and the lack of originality in the picture that would go visualize some aspect of the WB was getting so damn repetitive. BORING.
