Downtime and reflection

After a combination of things, I'm really at a low and totally feel out of it, gone, worthless, pointless, disappointed, confuzzled and whatever else fits in there. Probably the biggest thing that I'm feeling is how disheartened I am in myself ( Read more... )

jeff dude, you left such a cliff hanger at the end of this entry... its like an aaron spelling move. Anyways, i agree with the fact that one of the best ways to learn is by simply asking someon who has experience, but you got it dead on with the final decision being based around your own personal wants and needs. Remember tho, sometimes a decision doesn't need to be made, simply because it is about something you don't necisserily want or need. Also, a way i deal with stress sometimes is to put it all in perspective. I know you do things in the best interest of your future (because you are a smarter kid than you think you are sometimes), so about the galveston fiasco: will you even care that much about it in a week or two? who knows, maybe it will turn out to be a really good story to tell later on. Well, this is all just advice and the only person who has the final say is you, so take it or leave it, and don't worry about who is judging you. You will only regret those decisions which YOU did not make ( ... )

Ha! I am so with you on the three-minute internal debate. Except with me it lasts about thirty minutes. Or the length of a movie. Or an entire evening.

I shall now demonstrate some flagrant hypocrisy by telling you this: The instant you doubt your instincts or try too hard to impress or please people, it all goes downhill.

You da man, you know. Entries like this make me see myself in you, and somewhat envy you.

Oh, I have a car in my radar: '98 Plymouth Neon, <60K miles, A/C, CD player, one owner, looks to be in good shape for a good price. Unfortunately, it's standard, which means I'd have to learn that to take advantage of the deal. I'll keep looking, but this is a distinct possibility.

Lastly, you're a bastard for the cliffhanger, but I have a solution: I take the other girl. :-D

Don't hurt them. You're better than that.
