Mika is awesome. I completely and fully recommend his songs. They're amazing. He's amazing. It's like a pure audio sugar rush, with a bitter/bittersweet aftertaste. A fair number of his songs are not actually happy.

On Fire, I think, can be viewed both as a secular song and a deeply personal one about the singer's connection with God.

But hey, Love Song for a Saviour is definitely about God, and that's a beautiful song.

My 'lol hao ghey' song is Death Cab's Brothers on a Hotel Bed, which is really not about that at all but is done a lot.

I KNOW. CHRISTIAN MUSIC IS REALLY GAY aaaaa every time I sit in through chapel in my school which I do mostly for the lulz it's- horrible. There are lyrics like 'TAKE ME, USE ME' and it's just about all I can do not to burst out laughing. WHY SO GAY, CHRISTIANITY.

Well, Evanescence is Christian rock - and you know what that's like. They have a song by the name of Tourniquet - it sounds like emo teen /wrist music, and that one, it is about God. The central conceit is that God is your tourniquet.

A. You have fandom on the brain; B. ... the singers have truly poor enunciation. Or pronounciation. Whichever you prefer.
