on sept 11 2001, me and my friends woke up the same way we had for the past 13 years of our lives. we brushed our teeth the same, we fought with our parents the same, and we went to school the same. we went to the same classrooms and hung around the same kids

That's so weird to read.
I remember that day just as well,
but it's such a different feeling on the opposite side of the country.
We all knew someone, who knew someone there.
It didn't effect me like it did you,
but that's not to say it didn't effect me...
I just think that's interesting.
