Gripe of the day

Why do some people come to my South-east Asian restaurant and then insist that I serve fortune cookies? For one, I am not running a Chinese restaurant, and for another, fortune cookies were invented in USA, and are not from China.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Well...the people we came with last time wanted curd rice and actually sent your manager to find out if there was "at least some curd" in the kitchen.

But I would say, since Chinese is part of the South-East Asian cuisine experiece for most diners...do have cookies..and charge 'em for it!
