I live in NC, which has a history of getting hit hard by hurricanes. The anarchy and amount of confusion has never happened in NC, simply because the state has a handle on it. We've never had a disaster this great before, no, but we've had towns practically leveled, and the state jumps in with National Guard, and THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY and the people of our state band together rather than free-for-alling and shooting at the people who are coming to help. FEMA does a good job; NC can attest to that. I firmly believe a great majority of this disaster can be blamed on the lack of leadership at the state and local lever.

I am no fan of W that is true, but Kanye West is the biggest idiot in music today. That guy proves himself a jackass and puts his foot in his mouth all the time. Just do some research on how he acted at the last american music awards show. I have no problem with the things that W and Washington have done to respond to Katrina.

Ya know and I heard his new CD is freakin sweet. I wanna buy it, but....man....haha......it's so hard to now. Maybe I'll separate the man's music from his rantings and go ahead.

Although i don't disagree with much of what you said, I have a question: why is it that you get so personally defensive when people attack bush?

I'm actually not defensive at all. What might come across as being defensive is actually just firm conviction on my part. Plus, I just like to write in general, get my thoughts out, and play with words ( ... )
