In between searching for a job and reading all the scifi books in the dublin library, I've been cooking a lot. Biscuits, pie, stir fry, carmelized onions, jam... just a few of the culinary adventures I've undertaken recently. The jam is damn good, btw. (The people I got my strawberries from had THREE DIFFERENT KINDS of strawberries! It was amazing. I could actually taste the difference. Deciding which I liked best, on the other hand, was more difficult ;p )

I tried to get your "fast" cornmeal crust out of Julia Child's book a couple weeks ago, but it would take as much time to make as mine. I'm glad to have your secret to the quicker version.

yes, it is different, I really like it. It's a fairly small recipe, but it makes just a perfect amount for me and Glen.
