Someone hawking Tamiflu has set up an LJ account under "reiganorson" and has friended me. I've done what I can short of locking my journal, but I wanted to alert you in case the bastard does it to you. I don't even want to put in an LJ link to the name. I'm kind of disgusted.

I was just friended by an advertising company. Fuck off I say. That's why I flock all my posts, you never know who is watching and reading.

The sucky thing is that they're not even interested in our posts - just in getting our attention and spreading the evil to our flists. I tried what I hope actually hides my friends list on my userinfo page, but I'm not really sure if that works. Fuck off, indeed!

I reported my asshole to LJ as a bot account, too. Prescription drug ads, in whatever medium, are anathema.

Thing is, it probably isn't a Tamiflu ad. It's far more likely to be a phish, trying to get you to visit their website so they can infect your computer. Tamiflu probably has nothing to do with it.
