Well, at least to the untrained eye, these photos look awesome. Boring or not. I can't wait to see what else you get.

Hopefully playing with your lens was super fantastic, because I missed out on any and all action I'm prolly gonna get at all this week. >:'(

looks brand new. Pretty good for a rental place. NOw you can really appreciate the speed of USM. Sucks about the hunting though. It has a limiter switch, no?

It looks brand new in person, too. I haven't specificaly looked for any flaws, but I haven't noticed anything when just holding it and looking at it. It does have a limiter switch, minimum (3.5m) to infinity or 8.5m to infinity.

It's crazy, I was taking pictures of a dragonfly... 20ft away.

Cousin is comming down today through Thursday, so I probably wont get to play with it all that much the next few days.

if you find it hunting, use cFn to change af to the * button and use the limiter switch.

I always use * to focus and I use the limiter as much as I can. I think it's just a symptom of the lens only being f/5.6. I went bowling today with people from work, so I didn't get to play with it today, but tomorow I should be able to.
