I was looking through old LJ entries when I found this music survey from my freshman year of college...I thought it would be fun to re-work it. Current answers are in italics.
Kirk Hammett Metallica's funny. Non-guitar players tend to be fans of Hammett, while guitar players tend to be fans of Hetfield. The main solo from "The Unforgiven" is still my favorite guitar solo of all time, though.
A friend of mine forced me to listen to "Trapped Under Ice" again after hearing me say for years that it's Metallica's worst song. Upon another listen, I realized it would be halfway decent, if Dave Mustaine was playing lead on it.
"The only thing worse than her natural voice is that one song where there are like, five of her." Lmao!
And yeah, now who's trying to get ME to use Limewire all the time?
Tomahawk...didn't they open for Tool or something? Didn't...didn't you buy their cd? I have some very foggy concept of this one.
*rolls eyes* Yep.
And...you weren't there, but remember when Colleen and I went to craptastic Krazy Fest and I threw up from the heat. And then we had to wait in the sun listening to horrible "punk/screamo/banging" for hours until our ride came to get us. Probably one of the most pathetic moments of my adolescence. (Aka three years ago.)
