A documentary about the unethical practices of pharmaceutical companies made me stop taking one of my medications. It specifically mentioned seroquel as one of the drugs that doctor's frequently prescribe hastily. Don't quote me on this bc I'm not completely sure, haha, but I feel like I read somewhere before that sleep with the help of drugs/alcohol isn't as good. Sleep has those different cycles which I think have various functions, and I think when it came to drugged sleep it dropped you down into a particular state and you don't go through all the cycles. Like I said I could be remembering wrong, haha, but it could explain why you feel more refreshed. And while I'm a proponent of taking meds when you need them, if you don't have any of the things that drug is supposed to help treat, then going off it was a good decision. No need to add additional chemicals to your body that you don't need.

Yeah, it's been a few weeks now since I've taken them, and I've felt no change in anything else except for not being tired in the morning :)
