Wow, do I feel like I've gotten my life together! The only problem with this statement is that I haven't actually done anything to straighten out my own life. I can so easily see the appeal of leaving this place, and ever-increasingly so. It doesn't make it any easier, though, to get left behind by... everybody I'm close to here (the numbers are limited as it is). As much as I wish my new Google homepage could do it for me, I feel like maybe I should play a more active role in this process. I need to get my academic life in order. I haven't slacked this much in my entire life, and I'm fairly certain my grades will reflect that. And I'm trying really hard to feel bad about it, but I just don't seem to care much, which is surprising to me.
