Today was fun for the most part. Tiring, but fun. Took the kids to The Ice Box for skating with the Brownies. Siblings were invited, but this time there was no instructor. was probably just a matter of finding his balance, if it's an ear infection. i hate ice skating (the falling down part is NOT nice), but i always found it easier if you just didn't look at your feet, and try small... i don't know... steps? mind you, this is coming from a person who broke her elbow last time she was on those bloody things, a gazillion years ago. ;-)

oh, and with the copper piping?! sounds like gathering the pennies for a fix. perhaps dead bolts and bike chains, winding appropriately around the wheels, is in order!

Yup, I'd efinitely blame the ear infection for Conal's poor balance on the ice.

It's good that your husband is going back to work, but not so great about the gas prices.

Good luck with the crime-wave. I'm all for people taking a stand against this sort of thing, even if it's only in a small way. If we all band together and stop accepting the unacceptable, then there's a chance of having decent, safe places to live. But if people just cower in their homes, then the crooks win and end up owning the place.

Exactly our feeling. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood when we moved here. Not top notch, but not a bad place to raise kids. Now? Hmmm. :-[

~DOES agree with this, to band together to keep the neighbourhood safe. but keeping track of everything, having proper locks, etc, will not make them come back, either~ what do you think made the change?
