I've been taking my pain meds sparingly because they cause me to be drowsy and I can't be nodding off during lessons. Today I'll try taking them every 4 hrs as I should be.
Oh honey, I hope the surgery goes ok and that it HELPS. You're owed one HUGE karmic return of happy after all this hell.

Set to 60? Brr! And to think I was a whiner this morning when I woke up to my bedroom being 61! :(
I've also been trying to think of some fanfic to write but I don't know if it would be HP - maybe I should get back to that Star Wars one I've had on the shelf a few years.
It made a WORLD of difference for her. She slept more than normal at first, and went 'away with the fairies' a couple of times, but is now on a lower dose and you wouldn't know. Except that her pain is MUCH less. :~)
Sadly, Lyrica's not covered by the govt. and costs a small fortune here: $89 a packet! She gets $40 back through her medical insurance at least, but it's quite a slug to the hip pocket. (most of mum's doctor-prescribed pharmaceuticals are covered by the govt., so she only pays $5 per script.)
I hope your insurance covers it cos it sounds like it'd be perfect for your pain!
