So my hard drive deleted my documents...and my external drive crashed. within 2 days of each other. I managed to recover a lot of stuff over the past 2 days (which is good since i needed a lot of the documents to get my work done for monday), but now I'm really far behind on my work and will be in the library all weekend. Between the Buried and me and Literary Theory?!
So I'm watching BTBAM's DVD which has an artistic interpretation of the album composed mostly of old film clips and I'm reading for class (St. Augustine), and now all I can think about is signs vs. things and forms vs. ideas (that one is plato, but still). I'm seeing signs and hearing words but there isn't any overlying meaning (or is there?). ( Read more... ) -

Its been a really rugged couple of weeks. I'm stressed beyond all comprehension and I've just been getting hit with so much bad news. colors
It's odd that when you look backwards your sense of color gets distorted. Gone are the hues and saturations that make the world real. When you look back in your life you see only the contrast.
