That was truly amusing. Thank you for a bit of non-cynical laughter by pointing it out.

Trying to get back onto a rational sleep schedule is painful at times (hence the extremely blah day).

Sometims your sense of humor troubles me. But, sometimes it's so funny I wake p my boyfriend laughing at 6:30am. "Why did the chicken cross the road?" "Becasue it was made of chocolate!"

Indeed terrificaly funny. I do know what a litte girl sounds like when you drop a spider down her dress, having been a little girl, long,long ago.

...my SO was driving the car along the highway, blissfully calm, when she gasped and jerked her hands from the wheel. She replaced them almost immediately, and I asked her what's wrong.

"I thought that was heading for us."

I look. One of the local car dealerships had put an inflatable blimp-styled balloon up, and somehow, due to the distance and the depth perception issues, she'd decided it was a REAL blimp, and since it was pointed straight at the car when she looked, clearly we were ABOUT TO GET HIT BY A BLIMP.

I tried really hard not to laugh, but I couldn't manage. I hope she doesn't read this...! :\
