I'm goin'. Late July, will be in Shanghai ever-so-briefly (sigh), then to the eclipse, then tagging along to Beijing for a few days.

It's a bit whirlwind I fear, but, it'll be great.

I know some people here are going to China for the eclipse. Could anyone let me know where they're headed? I might decide to go, if it's reasonable-ish. Thanks!

I noticed on my profile that this would be my two-thousandth entry on this account. I had a lot of thoughts about my last week that were for close friends before i noticed that. I'm at 99.1°F this morning, which is fantastic. However, my glands are still really swollen and sensitive. My tonsils are swollen, but don't hurt. It's all kind of weird.

Going to give it another 4 hours before doing the urgentcare thing.

Back to 102.8°. The penicillin is barely winning, apparently, as i'm due for a dose in an hour. Adding more tylenol and consuming mass quantities of everything (mostly food and water). My tonsils are bigger and have a neat stripy pattern going, like some overcompensating cougar ( Read more... )
