What the heck happened in China? As they say, "I was there, where were you?" ;)

I was in Shanghai for a very jet-lagged day, then on to Beijing. It was okay, but i'd rather have spent more time in one place =\

The seeing was okay in Hangzhou, with just a thin layer of clouds. How was Shanghai?

I was also in Hangzhou - Shanghai was socked in and light rain. That's why I was hoping to connect at some point, but oh well. I was at HuXi (West Lake). I wouldn't call the layer "thin" but Totality was still visible. And you didn't miss much in Shanghai, sightseeing-wise.

Are you still reading it, though (via a newsreader)?
Just wanna know if you'll be seeing my posts here, infrequent though they are nowadays.

Is there an RSS/Atom format for flocked content? I know you've hacked at one, but I wasn't sure if it was available.

There are about four people who only post things f'locked here, who i'll miss, but it's just not worth the emotional investment of having a livejournal anymore.

The souped-up friend-page feed is here. Unfortunately it requires a little bit of setup, since for some reason you have to clone it into your own S2 style.

I'm in the same boat. I still log in to check friends' entries, but I am no longer using it. I am mostly on twitter these days. I believe we're also friends on fb too. Here's my twitter: http://twitter.com/strlen

By the way, we should hang out sometime. I am up in the city quite a bit these days.

Hmm, rumor has it that I'll be back in the Bay Area (for the first time in 14 years, hah) in the near-ish future, depending on how things go with respect to finding decent employment and all of that nonsense.
