I found your journal through dave,

I've been so apathetic for awhile until these last few weeks.
A lot of it was coming back in to our selfish society after being
with people who are really living the lives that God wants for them.
(the congo, tom fest)

I'm sorry for not even contacting you. The last time we spoke was tom. I've still gotta tell you what God's been doing in the Congo remember?

I love you dani, and I don't wan't to let our friendship slide cause of the miles between us. You're one of most inspiring, and encouraging friends I know and could ever hope for.

I'm playing shows now in portland. We've been playing at
the artistery(a Christian artists house), and we're gonna play at solid state either new years eve, or day. Joe's putting the show together.

i am so glad to hear from you. these days have been full of sickness, packing, wrapping of gifts, just plain keeping busy! doing well despite the cold weather and head colds. the Lord has seen fit to bless my socks off on a regular basis lately! it humbles me! reminds me of why i should be joful at this time and any other time! reminds me why i am alive! ben, just remember that God has put you in this place for a reason! you were born into a country of wealth for a reason! God has plans for you... don't spend to much time on apathy... cause you may end up looking back and wondering where all that time went... time is much better spent with empathy for others... which i am sure you already know! merry holidays my friend! keep in touch!!!
