I didn't catch the presidential address last night, but was glad to read the transcript this morning. I have to say that one statement alone made me feel good about our current president:

"The reason I'm pro-choice is because I don't think women take that -- that position casually. I think that they struggle with these decisions each and every day.

for a side note: the original transcript i read had a very interesting typo. ". . .I would like to reduce the number of unwanted presidencies that result in women feeling compelled to get an abortion . . ."
