Italians eat that all the time :P properly-aged balsamic isn't much like what one thinks vinegar should be like at all.

Well yeah, but I still never would have thought to do it. You should have tasted all the delicious balsamic vinegars I saw yesterday. Soooo good, and more types than I'd ever knew would have existed; peach, chili, lemon, spiced... So good...
