Just maybe my favorite of yours. Elegant and beautiful and full of images that make me want to write. The repetition worked, and the breaks in repetition worked even better. Yes yes yes.

wow whered this come from?

not one of my favorites of yours, but i love the way you set up the two places. there are a couple things that can ONLY be articulated through THIS POEM. Which is why i cant tell you what they are, except that they involve the contrast between a mouth full of smoke and lead, blue water, and the way "we'll have a baby" comes directly after guessing at half a love triangle.

do it again. : )
