I <3 Macs. I have used other computers but for some reason we have always used them at home and they have served us well. Sure they have had issues (name me a computer that hasn't), but whenever there is a virus, we really don't have to worry about them. Also you don't have to upload software for your iPod.
The nice thing is that the parts are original to the computer and not taken from other computers. Also I find that Macs last longer and usually have fewer "issues" that require it to be repaired. Its also good for graphics.
My old computer was a mac laptop. They rarely get viruses, they're so easy to use its disturbing to lifelong PC users, and it has a lot of features that are very useful. If my campus wasn't all PCs, I would still have one.

I'm really not a mac fan. Mostly i hate the interface. But also my hubby is a major computer guy and he's not into mac's much at all.
They're really not any different than PCs now because they have the same processor chip and everything. The ONLY difference between a PC and a Mac now is the outside packaging and the GUI (Graphical User Interface).

My hubs is also a computer guy, and he doesn't like Macs either. He actually built our computers himself :) (He used to work for Intel and now for Symantec so yeah..)

Plus, they're majorly expensive compared to a PC.
