4. last night I went to a concert where they played Bolivian music
5. today I drank Guatamalan coffee
6. I am also currently watching a film about a Japanese woman in Hawaii

Conclusion: being white is boring and lame. ;

Every one of those other countries think that their lot is boring and lame and that all the hot, happening, interesting things are happening elsewhere (including America). The neighbour's grass is always greener.

Hmm I suppose I am fascinated with oppression. ;)

Actually, I would argue that North Korea is probably the greatest offender of civil rights in the world. Life is pretty bad in Sudan right now, too.

Besides, every country has had a crappy history. You just have to dig back far enough.
