Wow, news is trickling in that 3 members of the Portland band The Exploding Hearts died on Thursday. I guess their van flipped on their way back from San Fransisco. This is somewhat devastating, it's sad no matter who they are, but they were a good band, with lots of promise and things were finally turning around for them. Very sad.

Who knew that there would be such a great guitar repair shop in the shitty town of Jeff City? I got my bass fixed. It took them a day (unlike the MONTH it would take if I got it fixed in Columbia), they cleaned it all up (I'll miss the blood) and I think they filed my bridge. New nut, labor, new Ernie Balls, $50.
