I'm modest. Yet I think i'm more intelligent than everyone else. I hate it. Intelligence is subjective, isn't it? Intelligence probably doesn't even matter. It would be a wonderful world if intelligence mattered most. It doesn't, though. There are many other ways to be successful. Most people who are successful aren't even intelligent. Though,

You realize that you managed to make a claim, and then disprove that claim in the very first sentence of your reply.

If intelligence is subjective, that would mean that me saying most successful people aren't intelligent is neither true or false. It's subjective. I can say whatever I want about intelligence, and who possessess it, because I'm basing that off my own perception of what I think intelligence is.

Regardless, I meant to type "probably" somewhere in that sentence.

and, just to be an ass, success is subjective, too.

jon i do think you are a very smart boy, dont get me wrong, im not knocking you down at all when i say this, but i do think, that you should get out of lakeland....

i think you need to meet more people. it's like being a big fish in a small pond ya know. i'm not saying you aren't a big fish, but how will you know if you stay in polk county, thats all i'm saying. i hate to generalize lakeland like that, but if i had to, some of the slowest people i've met are from there. i feel smart when i go back to lakeland, i feel smart anywhere in fl, but the second i talk to friends from ohio, or god forbid going to nyc where the standards are ridiculously higher than they are down south, all i'm saying is... i think it would be in your best interest to branch out. you're a smart person, but if you feel that you're smarter than everybody else, then i think that definitely means you need to see what else is out there, because trust me there are people ahead of you, and you should go meet them, for your own benefit
