thank you!
i thought the book was pretty good, lots of nonfiction is wrapped up in the novel, so that makes it quite interesting. i didn't love it, but it was still a good read. my favourite so far was "extrememly loud and incredibly close."

i'm reading oryx and crake by margaret atwood. it's really, really scary in that it's so post-apocalypse but definitely captivating. i really want to read white oleander and ishamel!

was thinking of the unbearable lightness of being. should i? also what did you think of the da vinci code. you should read how to view yourself as you really are by the 14th and pressent dalai lama.

hmm...i didn't really enjoy the unbearable lightness of being. at least, it is quite forgettable. also, da vinci code was ok; it was a good story, but not beautifully written, which is what i usually look for in a book, rather, it was mostly just a page turner. have you read it? and if so, what did you think of it?
i have actually wanted to read something by the dalai lama. i will check that out, thank you.

i take that back. i mistook the unbearable lightness of being for another book, which i obviously forgot to record. it is actually a really beautiful book, i found some quotes that i had copied from it in my journal.
