Read any good books lately? Any cool alternative mothering practices to share?

omg - i have reread my entire book library in the past 6 months! literally. i just picked up a couple of new ones: Ender's Game and Dune. Oddly, I have never read nor seen Dune, and it came highly recommended. Plus, pages and pages of info on vaccines, baby care, consumer safety and ratings on billions of baby products, etc. Not to mention roughly 500 pages of names for girls. i am always looking for recommendations on good books to read - i tend to like fiction more than non-fiction these days. science fiction, thrillers and mysteries are up there on the list. already read everything out there by asimov, vonnegut, and douglas adams.
